LED light therapy with Celluma PRO

Light therapy is the application of certain wavelengths of light to tissues to achieve therapeutic benefit. Research has shown SLE to be an effective therapeutic modality for promoting skin wound healing. The biological effects promoted by this therapy are related to the decrease of inflammatory cells, the increase of the proliferation of fibroblasts, the stimulation of angiogenesis, the formation of granulation tissue and the increase of the synthesis of collagen. LED therapy is also known for its ability to rejuvenate the skin, treat acne, reduce inflammation and increase microcirculation.

Using Celluma's LED Therapy

Celluma LED Therapy can be used as a powerful stand-alone therapy or as an add-on to most services. For maximum benefit, a 30 minute treatment is recommended. Always apply to clean, dry skin, as lotions, creams, and serums can reduce effectiveness by limiting the amount of light . Blue, red and near infrared are the most common wavelengths used in LED phototherapy. These specific wavelengths are well studied and scientifically proven to provide therapeutic benefits. The blue penetrates the epidermis and is known to kill P.acnes bacteria. Red penetrates the skin layer and has been shown to improve collagen and elastin production by photobiostimulating fibroblasts. Near infrared penetrates deeper and increases microcirculation (tissue repair), reduces inflammation and relieves pain. When treating a client, choose the wavelength or program that best suits the condition being treated.
